03 Challenges

● The control valve flow rate is very low, requiring high adjustment accuracy

● The parts in contact with the medium must not have metal presence

● The valve as a whole is prohibited from oil and water

● The medium is highly fugitive and highly corrosive

●Field control valves do not have a long service life and need to be replaced every three months.

 

04 ASBG solutions

Working condition: Medium: high purity HF (hydrogen fluoride) gas, high purity TFA (trifluoroacetic acid) liquid, pressure: 0.1~0.4MPa, working temperature: -5~70℃, small flow regulation.According to the field conditions, Aisenberg redesigned and developed a new micro-flow plug structure on the basis of the bellows lined control valve to solve the pain point problem. The structure has the following advantages:

(1) The valve body is lined with imported PFA, and the plug and bellows are formed into one body to ensure that there is no metal in contact with the medium, and the internal parts are integrated processing, with stable structure and no leakage point;

(2)  The valve plug is made of TFM-PTFE material with anti-compression and stable performance. According to the calculation of the site working conditions, the rated Cv of the control valve designed by us is 0.04, and the plug is designed as a V-shaped plug structure with a groove;

(3)  The plug is in the seat guide sleeve throughout the stroke to ensure that the control valve has high-quality adjustment characteristics when the temperature and pressure change;

(4)  The inner plug is nested in the metal liner, and the valve stem is directly connected with the metal liner to ensure that the actuator output force directly acts on the sealing surface of the plug to ensure reliable sealing;

(5)  Bellows seal + packing double seal structure, to ensure that the overall seal of the valve is reliable.
